Served by nearby international primaries, the International Bilingual School of Provence (IBS) lies just south of Aix-en-Provence in Luynes. IBS has its own primary, college and lycée boasting nearly 500 students from 50+, 130 of whom are boarding. Following the French curriculum from 6ème to 3ème, students can then choose to prepare for the French baccalaureat or other national exams.
With the motto, « Ubi Spiritus Ibi Libertas, » IBS marries the best of the French Bac and other English-language systems, such as the IB. A majority of graduates place into UK universities with others placing into universities in mainland Europe, US, and Canada.
2-3 week summer camp sessions run throughout the summer months. French is offered as both a first and second language. There is also English as a Foreign Language and French curriculum mathematics. Summer campers have the choice of one to three sports such as tennis, table tennis, horse riding and football.
